The Biology of our Psychology: New understandings of how biology influences behaviour and how creative arts therapies can make use of them. Christine Caldwell, PhD, LPC, ADTR. Much recent biological research notes that how we move influences our biochemistry, which in turn influences our mood, our ability to feel pleasure, our energy level and attentional sharpness, our creativity, our ability to handle stress, and even our intelligence. By understanding these new concepts we can design clinical strategies based in biological as well as psychological research. From Reel to Real: Use of films in creative arts therapies.
